Tori & Adam GTKY Session – CT Wedding Photographer

Tori contacted me a few months back to discuss her Wedding; well sort of! Tori & Adam eloped about 18 months ago and kept it hush hush! They will be having a huge elopement party later this summer and we spent last Sunday having a little fun!

Here are some of my favorites from the session….

Tori & Adam are both avid runners, so they wanted to incorporate a little activity in their session!

Kasia & Mathieu’s GTKY Session – CT Wedding Photographer

A couple Sunday’s ago I headed into the city to shoot a couple engagement sessions! After wrapping up with Kerri & Yann, I took the C Train from Central Park West to High Street in Brooklyn, walked down to Front Street and met up with Kasia & Mathieu!

Kasia had seen the ginormous graffiti wall when I shot Jen & Pete’s engagement session in 2010 and really wanted to have some fun there! Kasia was born in Brooklyn, while Mathieu hails from Canada! They both studied abroad and met in Poland; fell in love and have been with each other ever since! Currently they both reside in NC while Mathieu finishes up Medical School at UNC.

Here are some of my favorites from their session, starting with this first one where I quickly whipped out my camera and began shooting, even before our introduction!

I really dig the mood of this next image!

After we did a few DUMBO we headed up to the Brooklyn Bridge.

I really dig shooting on the cyclists side when facing Manhattan, but you really need to move quickly so you don’t get run over!!!

Kasia & Mathieu we’re meeting some friends for dinner in Manhattan following their shoot, so we headed back to their car and drove over to GC area and spent a little more time shooting.

Love this last image of them holding hands and walking away!

It was great working with you guys and I can’t wait for your wedding this summer!

Kerri & Yann’s GTKY Session – NY Wedding Photographer

Last Sunday I ventured into Manhattan to meet up with Kerri & Yann at Grand Central, then we headed on over to Central Park! How cool was it that Kerri actually works for Central Park Park’s Department (think I got that right!) We were able to go into the office that she works and manuveur our way to the roof of the building for a few shots!

High up there on the roof is a book in a metal case that originated in ’89 and everyone who makes their way to the roof must sign it! It was so cool!

I had a great time working with you guys and looking forward to the two of you rock the Surf Club next month!

A Glimpse of 2010!

At the end of every year I try and put a slideshow together – - some photographers do a “Best of Year” presentation and I think that’s really cool, but I prefer to include the images of captured moments where the subject and myself were being goofy or silly. Herein you will see goofiness, seriousness, emotions, fun and even some bloopers so-to-speak!

I thank everyone who was a part of 2010! Out of over 12,000 images delivered, it was hard selecting 200 or so! Don’t blink or you might miss one!

Lauren & Matt’s e-Shoot | CT Engagement Photographer

A few weeks ago I had the wonderful opportunity to spend some time in Greenwich with Lauren & Matt! I parked “somewhere” then we walked around downtown! We stopped by the church where they will be having their ceremony, walked around town a little and ended up at Bruce Park!

I really had a great time getting to know them and am very much looking forward to their wedding next summer! Here are a few of my favorites!

Really dig this church steeple!

Right in here is where Matt proposed on a cold winter’s day!!! It was really cool to go to this spot, it was gorgeous!

Can’t wait for the wedding guys! Stay warm over the winter!

Marlene & Phil’s e-Shoot | Central Park

Saturday I drove to the Fairfield Train Station, mind you I drove to the train station that has yet to open (thanks GPS) and when attempting to check in on Four Square it said the Train Station I needed to be at was many many meters away, so I had to swallow my pride and call the couple LOL – what a great way to start the day! Eventually I ended up 3 miles down the road to the proper train station – in my defense I’ve never been to the Fairfield Station, but now I can say I was one of the first at the new one!

Marlene, Phil and myself arrived at Grand Central around 3:45 or so, took a few shots there and then walked over to Central Park! It was a gorgeous day and luckily Marlene brought flip-flops cuz the walk does take a few!

To say that these two are HOT doesn’t even come close to truly describing their interaction with each other!

I love this next capture, I was going to leave it out, but its so fun! Marlene calls this the “Philly-Cheese!” look!

Marlene had some seriously mad shoes, I mean they were just over the top sexy! Seeing as she is in the shoe/fashion business, I would expect nothing less!

This next shot is definitely one of my favorites from the day, Marlene with her hair falling perfectly, the connection between the two, the cute smirky like smiles coming from both of them, it was perfect!

I had a great day with you both and can’t wait for your Wedding next year!

Jenn & Rob’s e-Shoot | CT Wedding Photographer

I met with Jenn & Rob earlier this year to discuss their Wedding which is slated for April 9th, 2011. Since they are getting married in the spring, I suggested doing their engagement session in the fall and they agreed!

We met at Burr Homestead in Fairfield, CT Saturday morning around 11. Jenn was so calm and relaxed and Rob seemed a little “unsure” about all of this, but he quickly felt at ease.

Following the little shoot with RDA last Sunday, I met up with Jen & Pete are reBar (147 Front Street) it was a cool quaint little place and from what Jen & Peter say we’ll be heading to the roof of the building on the day of their Wedding! How freaking cool will that be!

Jen & Pete were the type of couple who are just over the top silly, ya know the kind that keep laughing and eventually you start laughing and you’re not even sure why but their happiness and joy ALONG with their laughter is simply contagious to say the least.. Albeit kinda embarrassing I think I snorted once or twice LOL!

Cherisse & Rob’s e-Shoot | CT Wedding Photographer

Last weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Cherisse for the first time and seeing Rob again! ¬†Rob was one of the best men in a wedding I did in 2009.

I will admit when he first called me and left a message, the method in which he described himself told me exactly who he was and it frightened me just a tad bit!!! (Just kidding Rob)

See, at the end of the wedding I did back in 2009 there was a little Red Sox vs Yankee friendly competition going on and Rob swore he was the biggest Yankee fan of all time; to prove it, he took off his shirt to show everyone how dedicated he was – he had a huge NY Yankee tattoo covering most of his back on the upper left side – no, no, no I am not going to post that pic!!

Needless to say Rob’s up at bat err the altar soon (jee that really was pretty lame!) and we headed to Southford Falls for their engagement session and the weather was perfect! ¬†So let’s get going!

I really loved the way these two interacted with each other, they were very close and cuddly, yet silly and goofy at times as well and you could definitely see how much they mean to each other.

I was so glad I was able to capture this moment – ya know that moment just before or right after that soft gentle kiss, I just love the expression on Cherisse’s face

I’ll admit I kinda egg’d this one on, while they were standing there, I asked Cherisse if she wouldn’t mind grabbing Rob’s behind and shaking things up a bit! ¬†Needless to say we all laughed

These next few images just really show their closeness, I was really diggin the flip flops in her hand too, it just added a little more to the moment.

I honestly wanna say that this next image is my favorite of the day, again, that moment just after!

After we wrapped up, they kinda sat down for a few minutes while I was packing up and I just had to grab these picture perfect moments.

It was great meeting you Cherisse and it was great seeing you again Rob (grateful your clothes stayed on this time too!!!!)

Am really looking forward to your Wedding this summer!

Sharon & Carl’s e-Shoot | CT Wedding Photographer

A few weeks ago I met up with Sharon and Carl for their engagement session and what a session it was! ¬†I think I traveled pretty much all over Southern CT!

I met Sharon & Carl at their house in Hamden and then we headed to Chester to Sharon’s parents house, then to Gillette Castle and wrapped up at Gulf Beach in Milford!
